OVERTAKE Marketplace Prepares for September Launch with Web3 Innovations

OVERTAKE, an emerging marketplace backed by Asia's leading gaming platforms ItemBay and ItemMania, is set to launch in September. The platform, which already facilitates $700 million in annual trades, is transitioning to Web3 with sui blockchain integration.

The marketplace began its journey with a Closed Beta Test in May, recording $63,000 in trades. An open beta followed in June, introducing features like onchain escrow, zkLogin, and fiat top-ups via Banxa. By August, OVERTAKE attracted 1,500 users and $120,000 in trading volume.

The September launch aims to expand its game offerings, leveraging Sui's infrastructure for secure peer-to-peer trading of in-game assets. The platform's creator-first storefront and gas fee subsidies position it as a disruptive force in digital asset trading.
